Exactal to Sponsor National AIQS CPD Road Show on Lean Construction
Exactal are pleased to announce their support for the launch of the AIQS’s inaugural CPD National Road Show. The AIQS (Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors) is the leading professional standards body for quantity surveyors in Australia and Exactal is excited to be partnering with them for such an important event.
The key speaker for the CPD Road Show will be Dr Ken Walsh, a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Civil, Construction Engineering and Management at San Diego University and a key person in the area of Lean Construction. Lean Construction is a combination of original research and development in design and construction with an adaption of lean manufacturing principles and practices to the end-to-end design and construction process. It is concerned with the holistic pursuit of concurrent and continuous improvements in all dimensions of the built and natural environment: design, construction, activation, maintenance, salvaging and recycling. This approach tries to manage and improve construction processes with minimum cost and maximum value by considering customer needs, which is the same aim that Exactal strives to achieve with its CostX® range of products.
Dates, times and locations for the event are as follows:
