Exactal Becomes First NZIQS Platinum Partner
Exactal is pleased to announce our partnership with the NZIQS (New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors), which commenced on the 1st October 2016 and will continue throughout the majority of 2017.
We believe that at Exactal, it is extremely beneficial to support member industry organisations and as such, have in the past supported various events run by industry bodies around the world. We have long been a supporter of the NZIQS conference and an e-Bulletin advertiser, and this support has now been recognised in a formal partnership, with Exactal signing on as the first NZIQS Platinum Partner. We believe this to be of great importance given their representation of one of our most important target markets.
The benefits for members of this partnership includes sponsorship of a national roadshow, webinar and continued advertising. Exactal were also confirmed as the first exhibitor at the 2017 NZIQS Conference, due to take place from 21st-23rd June in Wellington.
Penny Dolton, Sales Manager for Exactal Australia & New Zealand, says “The opportunity to work more closely with NZIQS, especially in assisting with CPD programs for members, is an exciting one for us. With BIM (Building Information Modelling) fast emerging in the construction industry, many quantity surveyors in New Zealand are finding electronic take-off programs such as CostX integral, so we look forward to working with them to help ensure they are future-proofing their business.”
Likewise, Marilyn Moffatt, NZIQS Executive Director, states of the partnership and of Exactal: “When choosing partners for NZIQS, we are looking at the value of the benefits that the partner can offer our members”.

About Exactal
Established in Brisbane, Australia in 2003 to develop software specifically for the quantity surveying and estimating market, Exactal has continued to expand its worldwide presence. It now has offices in Brisbane & Melbourne in Australia, London & Manchester in the UK, Auckland in New Zealand, Austin in the USA, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and Singapore and Hong Kong. The company also has sales and channel partner support across much of the globe. The main product CostX® provides an integrated BIM and 2D on-screen measurement solution with a unique integration between the cost estimates and the elements on the drawing files that the estimate represents.
