Exactal Exhibiting at RICS National BIM Conference UK

Exactal will be exhibiting at the upcoming RICS BIM Conference, to be held in London at Euston Square on 13th February.

The conference aims to address the need for collaborative working in developing BIM across the supply chain; from pre-construction, construction and post-construction phases. As CostX® plays an important part in the collaborative BIM process – with IFC and Revit import capability, the ability to add information to models and the ability to export files to CSV or other formats – the conference is ideal to showcase the CostX® range of products. Not only will Exactal have a booth in the exhibition area, but the company will also be taking part in the BIM Demonstration Zone, a session that allows attendees to see the latest technologies and different stages of BIM implementation.

Sales Director Christine Reilly states “The UK is an important area of growth for Exactal as more companies become aware of CostX and the benefits it can bring them. With a focus on BIM by the UK Government, this conference is timely for RICS members and particularly quantity surveyors who have been thinking about implementing BIM. CostX® will help them move from the justification of why they should implement BIM to how they can implement it into their company.”

About Exactal

Established in Brisbane, Australia in 2003 to develop software specifically for the quantity surveying and estimating market, Exactal has continued to expand its worldwide presence and now has not only two offices in Australia (with the second in Melbourne) and two offices in the UK (London and Newcastle Upon Tyne), but also offices in New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong, with sales and channel partner support across much of the globe. The main product CostX® provides a unique integration between the cost estimates and the elements on the CAD drawings that the estimate represents. This approach allows fast revisions of drawings to be easily handled and eliminates traditional scope creep in construction projects.
