Exactal Releases CostX® 6.5
Exactal is very pleased to announce the release of the latest version of CostX®, Version 6.5.
The new release of CostX® is a fitting end to a huge year for Exactal; with opening an office in Malaysia, reaching the milestone of 8,000 licences sold, and of course merging into Exactal Group and releasing a new website.
Customers will be extremely excited by the new release, as it contains several key features which will greatly assist with the general workflow and help increase ROI. One of the most exciting new features is that CostX® 6.5 now allows for multiple drawing and workbook tabs. Multiple tabs enable a user to open and view multiple drawings and workbooks side by side, in the same building at the same time, on single or multiple screens! The parent window is clearly tagged at all times so you always know where you are.
Some of the other great features include:
– Ability to add formulas in Dimension Group fields to calculate additional quantities derived from the measured dimensions.
– New Multiplier field added to Dimension Group and Dimension Properties.
– Now possible to measure from drawings in Comparison view.
– Optional columns in the Drawings List for scale, calibration and multiplier.
– A wider range of Dimension Group colours can now be selected and a colour indicator icon has been added to the Dimension Groups list.
– BIM Schedule column controls including sort by columns, and hide/show/invert columns.
– Easy drop down selection to set the drawing scale.
– Snap to angle option while measuring.
– Additional filtering options on Dimension Groups.
And much more!
