Exactal Signs on as RICS Technology Affiliate

Exactal is pleased to advise that we have signed on as a RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Technology Affiliate for 2017.

RICS is the global professional body promoting and enforcing the highest international standards in the valuation, management and development of land, real estate, construction and infrastructure, with branches in countries throughout the world. The RICS Tech Affiliate Program (TAP) is intended to increase awareness and adoption of technology in the Real Estate and Built Environment sectors, benefiting both RICS professionals and the wider market. The TAP program was officially launched at RICS HQ in London on 19th April, with several Exactal representatives attending.

Dan Hughes, RICS Director- Data and Information Product Management noted “We are delighted to launch the Tech Affiliate Program (TAP). The purpose of the program is to support awareness and thought leadership across the sector, specifically relating to the impact of technology, and to support professionals with the adoption of standards.”

This is the third major industry body that Exactal has signed on to partner with for 2017, which is a further testament to our commitment in supporting the construction community as a whole. The partnership will allow Exactal to work closely with RICS in a number of ways, including in the areas of standards and best practice across the industry.

Steve Dousie, Managing Director EMEA of Exactal, said of the partnership “I’m very excited to be partnered with the RICS for their inaugural year of the TAP- Tech Affiliate Program. RICS is an important global industry body, especially prevalent in the UK, and by partnering with them we are ensuring that not only will our leading CostX range of products be exposed to a wider audience, but also that our product range can continue to meet member’s needs by matching with the relevant industry standards and expectations.”
