Exactal Sponsors NQ AIQS BIM Awards

Exactal is pleased to announce their sponsorship of the upcoming NQ AIQS BIM Awards, to be held in Cairns at the Shangri-La Hotel on 6th December.

The awards will be an excellent way to showcase the BIM work, innovations and projects taking place in North Queensland. Three main categories are represented- Best in BIM Innovation Award, Best in BIM Project Delivery and Best BIM Model.

Product Solutions Director Simon Lovegrove will be attending and also presenting an award. He notes “Exactal are excited to see BIM at the forefront in North Queensland and that is the reason for our sponsorship. Many large projects are delivered in the area and the use and popularisation of BIM will allow for smarter, faster and more accurate project delivery and completion. CostX® can assist with this transition through the advanced BIM estimating features offered within the program”.

About Exactal

Established in Brisbane, Australia in 2003 to develop software specifically for the quantity surveying and estimating market, Exactal has continued to expand its worldwide presence and now has not only two offices in Australia (with the second in Melbourne) and two offices in the UK (London and Newcastle Upon Tyne), but also offices in New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong, with sales and channel partner support across much of the globe. The main product CostX® provides a unique integration between the cost estimates and the elements on the CAD drawings that the estimate represents. This approach allows fast revisions of drawings to be easily handled and eliminates traditional scope creep in construction projects.
