Exactal welcomes Murray Freeman as Chief Operating Officer
Exactal is pleased to announce the appointment of Murray Freeman as the Chief Operating Officer for the Dimensioneering Group, consisting of both Exactal and Dimtronix. Murray will be based out of the Exactal Brisbane office and will oversee daily operations of the Dimensioneering Group as a whole. His appointment to this new position is a reflection of the continuing growth of the Dimensioneering Group and its expansion worldwide.
Murray has been involved with Exactal since its initial establishment in 2003; initially acting as a non-executive Director. Murray has had previous experience in international business operations and his full time appointment to the company will be invaluable given the future direction and aims of the Dimensioneering Group as a whole.
CEO Mark Kefford says of the appointment “Murray has worked with me in a number of previous companies and he has always been a significant contributor for each one. His experience and knowledge in working in multinational companies will be a valuable asset to the group to support our continuing growth and I welcome his appointment to this new role”.

Established in Brisbane, Australia in 2003 to develop software specifically for the quantity surveying and estimating market, Exactal has continued to expand its worldwide presence and now has not only two offices in Australia (with the second in Melbourne) and two offices in the UK (London and Newcastle Upon Tyne), but also offices in New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong, with sales and channel partner support across much of the globe. The main product CostX® provides a unique integration between the cost estimates and the elements on the CAD drawings that the estimate represents. This approach allows fast revisions of drawings to be easily handled and eliminates traditional scope creep in construction projects.
