M+W Group with headquarters in Stuttgart/Germany is one of the leading global companies in the field of high-tech engineering, procurement and construction. Making the Change
M+W Group first introduced the use of CostX for a large confidential client in Ireland. The project used both 2D drawings and 3D models. It soon became apparent that by using CostX for 2D measurement, it reduced the labour intensive traditional take-off function, whilst the show source function was invaluable when agreeing quantities both upstream with the client and downstream with the package sub-contractors.
The Outcome
M+W Group started evaluating CostX in late 2012 and since then CostX has improved with every update to maintain its position as the leading electronic measurement software. Some of the reasons why are:
